African Violets; the name evokes images of passionate purple petals and wide dark green leaves. At Nearly Natural, we do offer that type of arrangement. But, just as they appear in nature, the African Violets on our website are also offered with white blossoms. We also offer a planter with a mix of African Violets and azaleas, or one with dieffenbachia and ivy. The petals of African Violets are known for their softness, and our petals are also very soft. In some locations, they are called saintpaulias - after the man who first found them. African violets symbolize feminine energy, as well as joy and love.
At Nearly Natural, we are always looking for ways to improve the quality of our merchandise. Although our plants have been crafted to look and feel completely natural for the past 75 years, we recently developed a separate line of plants called “Real Touch.” These plants take the uncanny resemblance to natural plants you have come to expect from Nearly Natural and upscale it to an even more authentic level. These plants include very natural textures and color and shape variations that would normally be found in nature. Why do we do it? It’s all part of our mission to consistently exceed your highest expectations.
Are you new to using artificial flowers or plants for your decorating? Are you wondering if there are some guidelines you should follow to make the best use of our high-quality silk botanicals? A recent poll asked interior decorators this question. Their most common suggestion was to be sure the size of your newly added fake flowers is appropriate for the space where you’re placing it. Before buying one of our creations, measure the area where you are planning to place the new item to be sure it will fit. We have arrangements in many sizes, so look at our website and choose your favorites.
